The Gala is a tradition that has been followed in Aberlady for many decades now and is a chance for all the Community to come together to celebrate village life.
Aberlady Gala Week 2010 starts
on the 12th June, with the crowning of the Gala Queen and a parade
of floats through the streets of Aberlady.
This is followed by a variety of stalls, Beer Tent, Tea Tent and
events etc. held on the Sports Field.
During Gala Week bunting is put up around the Village streets
and the children in the Gala Court decorate their homes.

The Gala Committee is delighted
to welcome anyone on to the committee. You do not have to have
a child at Aberlady School or in the Court [in fact it can be
an advantage if you don't!]
We are always on the look out for people with contacts that can
be put to good use.
Meetings are held monthly at 8pm usually in one of the local hotels.
Please call one of the committee to find out when the next meeting
is.
